As a part of our expanding Human Excellence team at AECOM, you will engage in a variety of projects across multiple sectors, including defence, rail, aviation, and nuclear. Our team is dedicated to understanding human behavior and interaction, using this knowledge to create innovative and sustainable solutions.

Your Role:

  • Oversee and manage ongoing human factors projects, collaborating with project managers and directors.
  • Assist the Head of Human Excellence in securing future project opportunities.
  • Deliver technical expertise in human factors.
  • Support the development of new human factors initiatives.
  • Act as a Chief Verification Engineer or Lead Verifier when necessary.

Current and Future Projects:

  • Multiple rail initiatives, including assessments of signaling systems and station design.
  • A significant nuclear project.
  • International airport baggage handling systems.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering: Providing support on various projects, including international opportunities.
  • Overseeing: Ensuring the successful delivery of human factors technical components while participating in multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Providing Expertise: Sharing your technical knowledge and insights with clients and team members on all human factors aspects.
  • Ensuring Quality: Navigating the complexities of human factors projects, working collaboratively with clients to address challenges.
  • Collaborating: Engaging with a diverse team of professionals, providing human factors guidance across multiple projects.
