Job Overview

Position: Supply Chain Project Leader – Resilience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a pivotal role in formulating delivery strategies to enhance the UK Submarine Supply Chain, ensuring the increased production rate required for upcoming initiatives.
  • Collaborate across essential Supply Chain sectors, including supplier enhancement, manufacturing processes, program management, engineering, and production, to pinpoint opportunities for readiness, overseeing the overall evaluation and execution of bridging strategies, resource contributions, and team accountability.
  • Assist in overseeing cost management, scheduling, and technical performance of teams to align with business objectives and contractual obligations.
  • Generate, coordinate, manage, and relay project data inputs and outputs to senior management and supplier evaluations.
  • Ensure team outputs meet cost, schedule, and performance criteria as stipulated in contracts, related Control Account Plans, and production schedules.
  • Identify budgets and risks to support Project Reporting for monthly Risk, CAM, and CSR meetings.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant Project Management Certification or equivalent experience, preferably within Supply Chain.
  • Strong management, leadership, and executive business skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at an executive level, including Project Management, proficiency in project management tools, product knowledge, commercial insight, engineering understanding, financial literacy, and effective persuasion skills.
  • Background in supply chain transformation, enhancements, and/or manufacturing readiness or engineering.
