Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the operational execution and ongoing enhancement of inventory management, including receipt, storage, maintenance, and internal distribution for current and upcoming projects.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of products by empowering team members with clear objectives and the authority to achieve critical delivery milestones within set timelines and budget constraints.
- Assisting in the formulation of essential strategies, policies, and procedures aimed at improving product quality and customer satisfaction, both internally and externally.
- Fostering cross-departmental collaboration to facilitate knowledge sharing and promote optimal working practices throughout the organization.
- Identifying and implementing best practice logistics processes related to inventory receipt, storage, maintenance, and internal dispatch.
- Managing and mitigating issues related to obsolete and slow-moving inventory, ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Significant logistics experience within a manufacturing and engineering context.
- Proven management experience in a large project-driven organization, consistently delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Desirable:
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing and transportation operations within a large FMCG or logistics environment.
- Experience in leading and developing teams across multiple locations.
- Familiarity with best practice standards in logistics operations.

Logistics Management Team Overview:
The senior manager will be an integral part of the logistics management team, reporting to the Principal Supply Chain Manager – Logistics. This role encompasses oversight of over 120 logistics personnel, including 3 Supply Chain Leads, 14 team leaders, and more than 100 logistics operatives.
