Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Students with SEN: Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Collaboration with Teachers: Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, ensuring that students with SEN receive the support they need.
- Creating a Positive Learning Environment: Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
- Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or a relevant field.
- Experience: Experience working with children or young adults with SEN, preferably in an educational setting.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
- Additional Qualifications: Additional qualifications in SEN, such as a Level 5 Diploma in SEN.
- Experience in Secondary Schools: Experience working in a secondary school environment, preferably with students with SEN.
- Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Classroom-Based Role: Work in a classroom-based environment, with some outdoor activities.
