Overview

Divisional Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of the financial services strategy, driving income and profitable growth within the division.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing financial services team, embedding core behaviours, values, and principles.
  • Prepare and deliver the financial services division income and profit budget, monitoring, reporting, and forecasting operating and financial results.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of financial services regulation and core products.
  • Monitor and evaluate divisional key performance indicators, identifying trends and developing initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver cross-sales and referral activity, promoting initiatives to improve results.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to necessary systems and controls to manage key risks and maintain standards.
  • Maintain the role of supervisor as defined by the network's training and competence scheme.
  • Communicate regularly with the head of sales quality to ensure messages and standards are up-to-date and cascaded correctly.
  • Effectively handle customer complaints, managing business exposure.
  • Create a universal knowledge and understanding, committing to HR processes and best practices.
  • Drive a culture of coaching, leading to a high-performance culture.
  • Work collaboratively across business streams, maximising profitable working relationships.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as CeMAP or CII equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mortgage and protection advising.
  • Must live within the designated division's geographical area.
