About the Role

We are seeking a talented and versatile Senior Salesforce Engineer with a growth mindset and a commitment to technical excellence. As a key member of our agile development community, you will build and maintain our Salesforce Ecosystem and its integration with our in-house insurance platform, while embracing industry best practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions to the required quality, design, coding, performance, and security standards in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Provide production support through investigations of incidents, triage, and fixes.
  • Test solutions thoroughly, prioritizing the use of automated testing standards and techniques.
  • Create and support custom Lightning Web Components, triggers, and scheduled batch jobs.
  • Ensure quality and continuous improvement through design reviews, code reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Take collective ownership of the platform, responding to its needs for stability and availability.
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for proposed solution development.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and ensure the continuous growth of our development community.
Requirements
  • Passionate about software development, demonstrated through blogging, contributions to open-source projects, attending tech events, and personal projects.
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code practices, Object Orientation, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, Governor Limits, and Salesforce Best Practices.
  • Experience in a similar Salesforce Engineering role and relevant qualifications such as Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator.
  • Proficient across the Salesforce Ecosystem, including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt your style to meet the needs of your audience.
