We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our Eastern & Midlands Construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate with the Commercial team, providing support across a diverse array of projects, including educational facilities, commercial developments, healthcare initiatives, leisure projects, and public sector works. Your initial assignment will involve significant contributions to various projects.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering commercial insights, including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team, ensuring that business objectives and KPIs are surpassed.
  • Compiling monthly cost/value reports for your designated area, along with analyzing results and identifying trends in collaboration with other team members.
  • Generating comprehensive commercial reports and reviewing outcomes, while considering trends with fellow contract team members.
  • Conducting physical measurements of work and reaching agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Managing the certification and payment processes for subcontractor accounts, while monitoring these accounts against financial forecasts.

Candidate Profile:

This position is ideal for you if you possess:

  • A valid Full UK Driver's Licence.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong IT capabilities, particularly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
