Earthstream is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead a team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers in delivering innovative projects across multiple industries.

Job Role: Electrical Design Manager

Location: Telford

Salary: Up to £85,000 plus car allowance & benefits

About the Role:

  1. Lead a small team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions.
  2. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure solid delivery plans are in place for all electrical engineering and hardware design work packages.
  3. Develop and maintain electrical design processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to secure high-quality resources.
  5. Work closely with Manufacturing management and supervision to ensure processes, standards, and methodologies are aligned.
  6. Recruit, train, and develop Electrical Engineering and Hardware Design Engineers to meet business demands.
  7. Monitor team output and audit quality to ensure best-in-class and right-first-time delivery.
  8. Provide technical direction, innovation, and compliance with customer specifications and legal regulations.

Requirements:

  1. BEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 7 years in a relevant technical delivery or management role.
  3. Subject Matter Expert in electrical control systems.
