Earthstream is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead a team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers in delivering innovative projects across multiple industries.

Job Role: Electrical Design Manager

Location: Telford

Salary: Up to £85,000 plus car allowance & benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and develop a high-performing team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers.
  2. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure effective project delivery and resource allocation.
  3. Develop and maintain Electrical Design processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to secure high-quality resources.
  5. Work closely with Manufacturing management to ensure alignment between departments.
  6. Recruit, train, and develop Electrical Engineering and Hardware Design Engineers to meet business demands.
  7. Monitor team output and audit quality to ensure best-in-class results.
  8. Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulations.

Requirements:

  1. BEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 7 years in a relevant technical delivery or management role.
  3. Subject Matter Expert in electrical control systems.
