About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our team at Yeovil District Hospital. As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based, patient-centred care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and surgery
  • Develop and maintain practical skills required within the speciality, reflecting the philosophy of care
  • Deliver patient care on a daily basis, using the systems in place in the department for a multi-disciplinary approach to patient-centred care delivery
  • Provide effective clinical and managerial leadership of the department, in the absence of senior members of the team

Requirements

  • NMC Registration (RGN) with Anaesthetic Qualification
  • HCPC Registration (ODP)
  • Relevant training course
  • Previous Theatre Experience
  • Knowledge of relevant surgical procedures, and experience of working within the speciality
  • Experience of caring for the critically ill patient
