Building Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Craftsperson to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Exeter. As a key member of our Estates Department, you will be responsible for providing a quality, efficient, responsive, flexible, and effective Estates service to the Trust.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will work within established maintenance policies and procedures across a range of disciplines, including building, carpentry, glazing, and others, with minimal supervision. You will be required to provide a high level of expertise in maintenance and repair of buildings, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
Working Pattern
The successful candidate will be required to work a standard 37.5 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required. The Trust offers a range of benefits, including flexible working schemes, family-friendly policies, and access to our comprehensive occupational health services.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and repair, with experience of working in a similar role. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A full driving license and ability to travel to various sites within the Trust area is also essential.
