About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Designer to join our design team at Next, working on our womenswear designer ranges. As a key part of the critical path, you will be responsible for researching the latest trends relevant to various customer profiles and communicating this information to your team and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze the latest trends in womenswear design
  • Communicate trend information to the design team and senior stakeholders
  • Produce elevated designs that tastefully represent the brand and customer
  • Brief suppliers and build relationships with the design and buying teams
  • Support the design process from planning new ranges to product selection

About You

We are looking for someone with a wealth of experience at an Assistant Designer/Senior Assistant Designer level within a UK brand. You should have a great taste level, a real passion for the latest trends, and a true eye for elevation and detail. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

The Team

You will be joining an amazing team whose enthusiasm for design and elevation is the main focus. A wealth of experience across multi-fabrications and innovative progression is one of the many plus points of joining this team
