Maintenance Technician

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading manufacturing business to find a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent role based in East Kilbride, Scotland.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned maintenance, breakdowns, and line change-overs to ensure production efficiency.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Engineering department's vision and strategic plan.
- Maintain production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to meet site Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvements within the engineering environment.
- Adhere to and support factory-wide systems for compliance with company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment.
- Collaborate with relevant parties to aid in the planning and support of all capital engineering projects.
- Work as a proactive team player to build effective credibility within the peer group.
- FMCG industry experience preferred.
- Educated to ONC level or equivalent preferred.
- Electrical or Mechanical bias (both positions available).
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Predictive Maintenance (PPM), and Continuous Improvement desirable.
12-hour shifts - 4 on 4 off.
Salary circa £40K + benefits.
