About the Role:

Activate Learning is seeking a dedicated and inspiring GCSE English teacher to join our team. As a GCSE English teacher, you will be responsible for teaching learners studying Electrical Level 2, Engineering Level 2, and Construction Level 1 courses.

This is a part-time, permanent contract with 22.2 hours per week, working Monday, Thursday, and Fridays. We are looking for an individual with previous teaching experience in the FE sector, but it is not a requirement. If you have the qualifications or experience to teach on our English courses and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development, and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above qualification in English or a relevant qualification
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Ability to work in a supportive team environment
  • Desirable: teaching qualification and experience working within education as a teacher
