About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Children's Trust. As a key member of our Housekeeping Team, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of housekeeping services to ensure a clean and safe environment for our children and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks in allocated buildings and areas, adhering to standard operating procedures and cleanliness standards.
  • Follow infection control procedures and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff to ensure special requests are met and stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist in the cleaning of communal areas, carpets, curtains, and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
  • Report any repairs or issues to the designated Facilities Helpdesk and Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Participate in routine housekeeping audits and ensure works are completed to agreed service levels.
  • Prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner and assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.

Requirements
