About the Role

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our team as a Substantive Respiratory and General Physician. This is a ten PA position with inpatient and outpatient commitments and a contribution to the general medical on-call rota.

Main Responsibilities
  • Join a team of three existing substantive consultants in a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Develop a sub-specialty interest and contribute to the general respiratory workload of the department
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with other acute hospitals and tertiary centres
  • Contribute to the general medical on-call rota
Requirements
  • Appropriate higher medical degree (MD or equivalent)
  • Full GMC registration
  • MRCP
  • CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Higher postgraduate degree
  • ALS
  • Experience of working within the NHS
  • Independent bronchoscopist
