An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Specialized Education Instructor with Focus Resourcing. This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As a Specialized Education Instructor, your primary duties will include:

  • Designing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the diverse academic levels and learning requirements of students.
  • Utilizing specialized methodologies to effectively convey the curriculum to students facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges or behavioral difficulties.
  • Creating a secure and nurturing classroom atmosphere, even in challenging circumstances.
Student Development

Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate for the Specialized Education Instructor position will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); unqualified candidates may be considered if they have a proven track record in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Experience with the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum.
  • Ability to contribute to citizenship, SMSC, and enterprise initiatives in line with school policies.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with students.
  • A strong positive role model for students.
