Teaching Opportunity in Environmental Conservation

We are seeking a qualified Lecturer in Environmental Conservation to join our team at Capel Manor College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing Conservation subjects, including ecological concepts, freshwater and wetland management, woodland management, plant and soil science, and managing countryside visitor activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification in Conservation or a related field and have experience in teaching and assessing students. They will be able to provide high-quality teaching, set goals that stretch and challenge students, monitor and assess student progress, and give feedback.

We welcome applications from experienced Lecturers and those with relevant industry experience who are interested in passing on their skills to others. The successful candidate will be able to inspire, motivate, and challenge students, and impart knowledge and develop understanding that promotes a love of learning and develops intellectual curiosity.

This is a part-time role, working 14.4 hours per week. The actual salary is £12,443-£16,418 per annum for qualified Lecturers and £10,654-£11,793 per annum for unqualified Lecturers.
