Job Title: Contract Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Officer to join our team at Panoramic Associates. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity in North West London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on biodiversity and ecology as it relates to planning policy and land use.
  • Coordinate delivery of biodiversity enhancement projects, including identifying funding sources and managing budgets.
  • Develop and implement strategies for Biodiversity Net Gain and conservation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of biodiversity issues, including experience with Biodiversity Net Gain and conservation strategies.
  • Proven experience in providing advice on planning applications and preparing management plans for biodiversity.
  • Familiarity with funding processes and community engagement in biodiversity projects.
  • Strong project management abilities and proficiency in IT tools, including GIS.
  • A passion for engaging with the community and promoting biodiversity initiatives.

Qualifications:

A relevant degree or equivalent experience in environmental science, ecology, or a related field.
