Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Holiday Inn South Normanton M1 Jct 28. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering exceptional food quality to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management.
  • Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and high standards of service.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Level 2 food hygiene certificate and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
