About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Safran Engineering Services UK Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development of electrical installations models and detail drawings for new product and platform designs.

As a seasoned line manager, you will lead teams in producing high-quality electrical designs, ensuring they meet company, regulatory, and customer requirements. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively manage stakeholders and ensure seamless collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of electrical installations models and detail drawings for new product and platform designs
  • Manage teams to produce high-quality electrical designs, meeting company, regulatory, and customer requirements
  • Check and approve electrical design work to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and customer standards
  • Develop and implement electrical design strategies to improve efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective design and development processes
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Aerospace or Automotive sector in an Electrical Engineering role
  • Excellent knowledge of CATIA V5
  • Ability to read design drawings and specifications
  • Experience with electrical routing design and installations
  • Team management and line management experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English
