Role Expectations

As a vital contributor to the team, the Automation Testing Specialist will spearhead the automation testing initiatives within the SPM program, aiming to enhance the volume of automated tests, execution frequency, and efficiency of test runs. You will facilitate the transition of existing automation resources from local setups into a unified test automation framework, ensuring integration with the CI/CD pipeline. While this concept has proven successful in various environments, the team is focused on broadening its application across all teams and settings.

In your capacity as a Senior Test Engineer, you will elevate our test automation capabilities to achieve our ultimate goal of swift and secure deployments into production. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and recommending best practices for test automation tools, fostering innovation and technological advancement. You will also be responsible for continuous improvement in test automation processes.

Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will be an experienced ISTQB/ISEB Practitioner with a deep understanding of CI/CD toolchain development. As a leader, you will possess the ability to foster positive working relationships in a dynamic and complex environment. You should:


• Have experience in script development, debugging, and optimization

• Be proficient in Selenium, AWS, and GitHub Actions

• Demonstrate extensive experience with Playwright, Datadog, and Jira

• Have familiarity with Python (optional)

• Exhibit a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments with development teams
