Role Expectations

As a vital contributor to the team, the Automation Testing Specialist will spearhead the automation testing initiatives within the SPM program, focusing on enhancing the volume of automated tests, execution frequency, and speed of operations. You will be instrumental in transitioning existing automation resources from local setups into a unified test automation framework, ensuring seamless integration with the CI/CD pipeline. While this concept has proven effective in various environments, the team aims to broaden its application across all teams and settings.

In your capacity as a Senior Test Engineer, you will elevate our test automation capabilities to achieve our ultimate goal of rapid and secure deployments into production. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and proposing technical best practices regarding test automation tools, fostering innovation and technological advancement. You will also play a key role in recommending optimal practices for test automation processes, driving ongoing enhancements.

Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will be an experienced ISTQB/ISEB Practitioner with a comprehensive understanding of CI/CD toolchain development. As a leader, you will possess the ability to foster positive working relationships in a dynamic and complex environment. You should:


• Have experience in script development, debugging, and optimization

• Be proficient in Selenium, AWS, and GitHub Actions

• Demonstrate extensive use of Playwright, Datadog, and Jira

• Have experience with Python (optional)

• Exhibit a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment with development teams
