About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Digital Technologies portfolio, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks and tools to support our product development process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Develop and maintain test infrastructure, including test data and environments, to support our testing efforts.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver training and knowledge-sharing programs to support the growth and development of our team.
  • Contribute to the development of our quality engineering practices and processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
  • Excellent knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and C++.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium and Appium.
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with medical device software development and testing.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 QMS standards.
  • Experience with test data management and test environment setup.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
