About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical / Forensic Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Schema-focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans that address the complex needs of our service users.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our services and contribute to their development through clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Disseminate research findings through conference presentations and publications.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting.
  • Training in complex therapies such as Schema-focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT.
  • Passion for working with individuals with complex mental health needs, including self-harm, physical and verbal aggression, history of sexual offending, and drug and alcohol problems.
