Position:

HVAC Systems Technician
Compensation: Up to £52,140, with a range of £38,000 to £49,140 (equivalent to £21 per hour) / 45-hour work week / London weighting of £3,000 annually / Door-to-door pay / Generous holiday allowance / On-call rotation of 1 in 5 / Overtime compensated at 1.6 times the standard rate / Private vehicle usage for work / Health benefits / Enhanced rest periods / Standby compensation.

With over 55 years of experience, CV Bay Ltd has established itself as a prominent entity in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector, collaborating with major retail chains and dining establishments.

We are actively seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Technician to service local retail outlets in your vicinity.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in retail environments (including Packs, Integrals, Coldrooms, and Display Cabinets).
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and execute necessary repairs.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety standards and company protocols.
  • Document all completed work and maintain precise records.
  • Provide training and support to junior technicians as required.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
  • FGAS certification / NVQ Level 2 in refrigeration & air conditioning.
  • CO certification is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience in commercial refrigeration within retail settings.

Package Details:
  • Salary range: £42,000 - £49,140.
  • London weighting: £3,000, totaling £52,140.
