We are seeking an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to lead, develop, and manage a dynamic and busy MSK Physiotherapy team and service across Inverness and Ross-shire areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continued development of the service, managing the MSK Physio staff, and working closely with local district managers, the North Highland Physiotherapy professional lead, and other physiotherapy and non-physiotherapy colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and operation of the MSK Physiotherapy team and service
  • Manage and supervise MSK Physio staff, ensuring high-quality care and patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with local district managers, the North Highland Physiotherapy professional lead, and other stakeholders to drive service improvements and strategic developments
  • Provide coaching and leadership mentoring to expand existing leadership skills and support the growth of the team
  • Assure education, development, and supervision arrangements are in place for physiotherapy staff, students, and other disciplines or professions in the field of MSK
  • Work strategically to progress the Inverness MSK service, ensuring safe, quality MSK care within the MSK team as part of NHSH strategy
  • Liaise with other MSK services in NHS Highland, secondary and primary care leads, and allied health professionals to deliver developments and service improvements within MSK
Requirements
  • Experience as an MSK Physiotherapist with advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK conditions
  • High standard of clinical care with previous specialist experience in MSK
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with a focus on team development and service improvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
