Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Acute Physiotherapy Team as a Health Care Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified Physiotherapy staff in providing efficient and effective Physiotherapy services to support patients in regaining functional ability.
  • Participate in non-clinical tasks such as cleaning and photocopying, as well as ordering mobility aids/equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills to ensure clear and concise information exchange with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and demonstrate good communication skills.
  • Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities.

Working Arrangements:

NHS Scotland is committed to providing a healthy work-life balance. As part of our efforts to reduce working hours, we are implementing a 37-hour working week. This change will not affect your pay, but you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period.
