About the Role

ENABLE Scotland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to support Ryan, an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a learning disability, in his daily life. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling Ryan to achieve his goals and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to Ryan, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with Ryan, built on trust, respect, and open communication.
  • Support Ryan in his daily routine, including meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
  • Assist Ryan in accessing community resources and activities, such as leisure pursuits and social events.
  • Collaborate with the ENABLE Scotland team to ensure Ryan's needs are met and his goals are achieved.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and Autism. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with Ryan and the ENABLE Scotland team. You will be flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently, with a high level of autonomy.

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with Autism and learning disabilities (desirable).
