About the Role

The Michael Page team is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our client, the Premier League Stadium Fund, in a key role that will drive the delivery of capital projects across the National League System and Women's Football Pyramid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clubs to ensure compliance with the Stadium Accreditation Programme and deliver against the objectives outlined in the Premier League Stadium Fund Facilities Management.
  • Scrutinize the technical and construction aspects of grant applications and ensure the successful completion of new and improved stadium facilities.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to applicants to assist with the development of capital projects.
  • Carry out technical assessments of grant applications and present funding reports for approval.
  • Oversee the construction process to ensure that the build is completed to programme, meeting Stadium Accreditation deadlines, delivered to budget, and in accordance with the agreed specification.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree standard (or an equivalent professional qualification) in a construction-related field, or with relevant experience in a related occupation.
  • Expertise in the construction processes for football facilities, including an astute understanding of the associated risks and hazards involved.
  • Knowledge of the regulations and requirements of the EFL, FA National League, and FA Women's Pyramid, related to stadium development and ground-grading.
  • Experience of delivering facilities from inception to completion, including agreeing scope, optimizing design, procuring to achieve best-value, and overseeing successful construction to time, budget, and in accordance with the agreed specification.
  • Experience of analyzing drawings, specifications, and related documentation, attending building sites, and conducting on-site assessments/inspections.
  • Understanding of procurement mechanisms for football facilities, including frameworks.
  • A track record of building and maintaining highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience producing detailed and robust reports for decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with presenting to panels or committees, and the ability to generate confidence in proposals/arguments.
