Project Manager Job Description

At Deploy Project Services Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating fit-out and deployment services for our clients, ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Communicate project details, planning, timing, and financial status to clients and internal teams
  • Provide input, assign roles, and tasks to external parties, collect output, and present to clients and team members
  • Regularly report on project status and finance, including minuting all key meetings
  • Ensure each project is delivered to CDM regulations and necessary requirements in market
  • Manage the full life cycle of the project, from conception to close out and final accounts
  • Track and communicate project spend, variation control, and approval
  • Oversee onsite teams, including contractors and fitters, at appropriate stages of the project
  • Motivate team members to exceed client expectations

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, specifically in retail fit-outs, preferably with high-end brands
  • Experience with complex projects requiring structural alterations, permitting, and approvals
  • Ability to read and understand architectural floor plans and MEP technical drawings in detail, including specification documents
  • Comprehensive understanding of an end-to-end PM process, as well as fit-out and construction methods in the retail interior environment
  • Experience with seeing projects through from conception to completion as the lead project manager, preferably in a PM agency or a GC company, or as a client representative
  • Excellent communication skills, dealing with persons of all levels in the delivery process, from feasibility to close out
  • Ability to learn local market nuances, requirements, and needs to deliver projects successfully
  • Able to travel globally with the required flexibility
  • Experience with utilising online platforms for the distribution of information, reporting, and tracking of documentation
  • Confident team player with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and trouble shoot, while remaining focused
  • Acute attention to detail with the confidence to insist on delivering top-level customer service
  • Provide practical solutions to drive the project forward, adding value and exceeding client expectations

Software and Language Requirements:

  • Advanced computer literacy required
  • Mac literate
  • OmniPlan or MS Project proficient
  • Advanced level of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and Teams
  • Experience with AutoCAD at a basic level for sketch drawings and overlays
  • Experience with BIM collab for marking up drawings and notifying team members of actions
  • English - advanced written and verbal level required for daily client communication
  • Other languages advantageous
