Junior Risk & Compliance Lawyer – NQ+ Opportunity

We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a junior lawyer eager to embark on a career in the risk and compliance sector. The selected candidate will work closely with the Head of the department and a team of three seasoned professionals to ensure the delivery of a thorough and effective service to the firm.

The responsibilities of this role will encompass:

  • Assisting with financial crime matters, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions.
  • Managing conflicts and overseeing insurance renewals.
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and best practices.
  • Addressing ethical considerations and risk management strategies.

The ideal candidate will be a junior lawyer, preferably newly qualified up to approximately 5 years of post-qualification experience, although this is a guideline rather than a strict requirement. Candidates should possess confidence, strong communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders, a willingness to learn, and meticulous attention to detail. While prior experience in risk, insurance, or regulatory matters is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided to the successful applicant.
