Job Summary:

X4 Technology is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst to join our team in Gibraltar. As a key player in managing our Profit and Loss (PnL) statements, you will be responsible for ensuring effective risk management strategies are in place and contributing to the overall profitability and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the daily PnL for trading desks, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate market risks associated with physical commodities.
  • Liaise with traders to understand their positions, strategies, and market views, providing risk assessments and recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities within the commodity markets.
  • Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risk metrics and trends.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to enhance risk management systems and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in market risk management within the physical commodities trading sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and trading platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with traders and other stakeholders.
