Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Design Engineer to join our team as a System Design Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex battlefield communications systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop systems across the entire lifecycle, including hardware, software, firmware, and electronics.
- Lead a major new project team in the land domain for C4ISR customers.
- Work across the entire lifecycle, from bid to release and aftercare.
- Build complex battlefield communications systems involving specialist sensors, electronics, signal processing, firmware, and software.
Requirements
- Current SC clearance as a single British passport holder.
- Willingness to obtain DV clearance if not already held.
- Experience with technologies like modern C, Java, and C#.
- Understanding of network technologies and military-grade COTS communications and sensor systems.
Benefits

Work Policy
Due to the importance/type of the project, it'll be 4-5 days PW in-office, so you'd need to live within an hour of the Chertsey or Portland (Dorset) office or be willing to relocate.
