About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team as a Systems Design Authority. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex defence systems, working closely with our clients to ensure that their requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of defence systems, including communication and sensor systems
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that they are met
  • Manage and motivate a team of engineers to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and specifications
  • Coordinate and oversee testing and qualification activities
  • Manage project technical risks and opportunities
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering complex system design, implementation, test and integration in the defence domain
  • Experience of full system lifecycle, design, development, testing, integration and acceptance
  • Strong technical knowledge of military-grade COTS communication and sensor systems
  • Ability to manage, motivate and develop engineering employees
  • Full driving license and ability to travel within the UK
