Hours: Night shift, Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00
Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to execute warehouse operations efficiently and effectively.
- Safely operate 5-tonne overhead gantry cranes, utilizing radio remote and pendant control, while prioritizing hand and body positioning and conducting task-based personal risk assessments.
- Accurately cut lengths of steel to precise measurements using fully or semi-automated Band Saws/Cold saws.
- Adhere to necessary Fire, Health & Safety Regulations and complete all required training.
- Follow instructions from the Foreman to ensure work schedules are met and maintain production output.
- Store processed material in designated Warehouse Bay(s) while ensuring safety and accessibility in line with company practices.
- Conduct stock checks as required.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment as instructed for your assigned role.
- Promptly report any plant defects to the Supervisor/Senior Supervisor/Works Manager.
