**Job Summary**

The Learner Support Team at St Helens College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Exam Access and Specialist Support Tutor. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering an excellent, inclusive, and student-focused service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Teach, support, and assess learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) in a Post 16 environment.
  • Collaborate with the Learner Support Team to provide support and exam access arrangements for students with diverse needs.
  • Develop and implement effective Learner Support Plans to ensure students receive the necessary support.
  • Provide one-to-one support to learners with academic work for all levels of study.

**Requirements**

  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., DTLLS, Cert Ed, or other Post 16 equivalent).
  • Qualification that meets JCQ requirements for Assessors of Exam Access Arrangements, and excellent report writing skills.
  • Experience in completing Learner Support Plans and supporting learners with diverse needs.
