Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship

Join MBDA's Mechanical Engineering Function and embark on a four-year apprenticeship programme designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this exciting field.

About the Programme

This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in mechanical engineering, working on real-world projects and collaborating with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, make, and test mechanical systems and components
  • Develop and apply scientific and mathematical principles to solve engineering problems
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from various disciplines, including electronics, environmental engineering, and manufacturing
  • Study towards a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship, including a HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering
What You'll Gain

Requirements
  • 5 GCSES including Maths, English Language, and Science/Technology at Grade 9-4
  • Engineering BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at grade MMM (or a Foundation Year)
