As a Disability Assessor, your primary responsibility will be to independently evaluate cases of individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit as part of the Department for Work and Pensions' Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).

This position requires conducting consultations and generating objective reports. A thorough training program will be provided to equip you for your new responsibilities, and you will accumulate over 100 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points within your first three months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply clinical expertise to assess individuals with diverse health conditions
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments through various mediums
  • Analyze medical evidence to produce detailed reports that support the decision-making process

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist
  • Active NMC/HCPC registration is required
  • Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
