Position: Procurement and Safety Compliance Officer

Location: North Walsham

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (1 hour for lunch)

Rowlands Woodhouse, a reputable engineering firm specializing in the Animal Feed and Flour Milling sectors, is looking to enhance its administrative team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement: Source and purchase raw materials directly from suppliers, ensuring timely order placement and management of ordering systems.
  • Health & Safety: Oversee health and safety protocols and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Quality Management: Enhance and uphold a quality management system to ensure adherence to UKCA certification standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
