Job Title: Contract Director

We are seeking a skilled Contract Director to lead our structural steelwork projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery teams, collaborating with clients and design consultants, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage project delivery teams, including project detailers, designers, and sub-contractors.
  • Collaborate with principal contractors, clients, design consultants, and other key members of the professional team.
  • Procure and appoint other package materials, such as metal decking, PCC stairs, glulam timber, and others.
  • Prepare detailed project programs and monitor off-site and on-site activities.
  • Attend site meetings and write detailed project reports, identifying and notifying contractual variations, delays, and other issues.
  • Prepare risk assessments and method statements, and observe site compliance and undertake safety audits and monitor quality assurance on-site.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in structural steelwork contract management.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • SMSTS and CSCS card preferable but not essential.
