Position: Independent End-Point Assessor
Overview: The role of an Independent End-Point Assessor (IEA) is crucial in ensuring that apprentices in the Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Adult Nursing Support) program meet the established standards of competency. This position involves conducting thorough assessments that evaluate the Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors (KSBs) acquired throughout the apprenticeship.

- Communicate effectively with Pearson regarding any risks or issues that arise during assessments.
- Ensure that all assessment documentation is accurate and of high quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Pearson's assessment processes.
- Engage in external quality assurance activities as required.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare support, demonstrating the ability to guide and assess apprentices effectively. They should have experience in a healthcare setting and hold relevant qualifications that affirm their competency in the field.
Essential Qualifications:
- Occupational competence in the adult nursing support sector.
- Registered healthcare professional or equivalent qualification at level 5 or above.
- Experience in leading discussions and ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Technical Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assess and report on candidates' performance impartially.
- Familiarity with the healthcare sector and the specific role of senior adult nursing support workers.
Additional Requirements:
