Position: Independent End-Point Assessor
Reference: EPA/HSW-ANS2023
Role Overview: As an Independent End-Point Assessor, you will conduct assessments for the Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Adult Nursing Support) apprenticeship. This role is crucial in ensuring that apprentices meet the high standards set by employers and are fully competent in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-point assessments (EPAs) in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain independence by assessing apprentices without any conflicts of interest.
- Document and submit assessment outcomes with justifications for grading decisions.
- Participate in regular training and standardization activities to ensure quality and consistency.
- Report any risks or issues encountered during assessments to Pearson.
- Support Pearson in addressing any appeals related to assessment decisions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Pearson's assessment activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Occupational competence in the adult nursing support field.
- Registered healthcare professional or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a healthcare setting within the last two years.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to assess impartially.
Additional Requirements:
- Possess personal IT equipment capable of running necessary software.
- Have a reliable broadband connection and appropriate audio-visual equipment.
- Maintain a secure email account.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
