Long-term Teachers Limited is proud to be supporting a fantastic special school based in Cheltenham that are looking for someone to support with their complex medical needs students.

We have a unique opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a SEND Learning Support Worker. This role will be based in their complex medical needs classes, where you will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support and care to students with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and care to students with complex medical needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Support students with communication and behavioral needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the school's special education program

Requirements:

  • Experience working with special needs and disabilities
  • Experience working with complex medical needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
