Position Overview: We are seeking a Graduate Embedded Support Engineer who will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical assistance to our clientele, prioritizing customer satisfaction and effective problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer advanced technical support for our products, addressing both hardware and software challenges.
  • Analyze product logs and configuration files to diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing comprehensive feedback to engineering teams as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service, aiming to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our embedded products, including their hardware, firmware, and software components.
  • Contribute to the creation of user documentation, such as troubleshooting manuals, FAQs, and knowledge base entries.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with industrial embedded devices and sensors is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of electronics hardware is essential.
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems, such as Jira.

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of wireless communication technologies, including GPRS, 3G, NB-IoT, and LTE-M.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols like DNP3, Modbus, and SDI-12.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Technical expertise in telemetry or related fields, such as telecommunications or IT networks.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between £25,000 and £30,000.
