Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bureau Analyst to join our team at the Ministry of Justice. As a key member of our Safer Custody and Security Intelligence Departments, you will play a critical role in analysing women's behaviours and identifying trends to improve the safety of our prisons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyse data from various sources to identify patterns and trends in women's behaviours
  • Work closely with safety and security analysts to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions
  • Collaborate with mental health, psychology, and neurodiversity leads to understand the data and implement effective direction
  • Provide support to the Safer Custody and Security Intelligence Departments, including assisting with the delivery of an effective Safer Custody focused intelligence and information system
  • Produce a monthly Safer Custody Intelligence Report and disseminate it to relevant stakeholders
  • Regularly update line management on local, regional, and national safer custody issues and intelligence received
Requirements
  • Ability to collect and analyse data from various sources
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
