Job Title: Principal Quality Engineer - Field Product Assurance Engineer

Location: Flexible working arrangements available, including hybrid and remote options.

Salary: Negotiable, based on skills and experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Quality Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Field Product Assurance Engineer team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the quality and compliance of documentation and hardware of procured parts at supplier sites across the UK.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and products to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Oversight and witnessing of manufacturing operations and subsequent inspections.
  • Utilize your expertise to provide advice, support, and coaching to our suppliers.
  • Ensure high-quality records are produced as an output of production processes and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Broad understanding of quality tools and techniques.
  • Experience working within supply chain conducting verification activities.
  • HNC qualified in engineering/quality or strong mechanical trade background.
  • NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) Level 2 Certification or equivalent.
