About the Role

Cumnor Hall, a 31-bedroom residential care home, provides specialized support for older adults living with dementia. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood in Ayr, the home offers a scenic view of the old racecourse sports fields and is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage residential, respite, and day care services to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of CrossReach.
  • Oversee staff management, budget control, and develop new services based on local needs.
  • Effective liaison with internal and external partners and deputising for the Head of Service as needed.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or equivalent.
  • Management Qualification or progress towards it.
  • Strong Christian faith and ability to uphold CrossReach's Christian ethos.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
  • SSSC registration.
