Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Neighbourhood Services Assistant to support our team in managing tenancies and fostering positive community relationships. As a key member of our Neighbourhood Services team, you will engage directly with residents to address tenancy issues, assist in managing neighbourhood disputes, and help build strong community ties through engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Neighbourhood Services Officers in managing social housing tenancies and neighbourhoods.
  • Engage with residents to address low-level anti-social behaviour, disputes, and tenancy breaches.
  • Organize estate walkabouts, door-knocking exercises, and community events to strengthen relationships.
  • Support new tenants by coordinating tenancy sign-ups and Home Plan visits.
  • Respond to customer enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Accurately maintain records and produce reports to support the team's objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services team during peak periods to ensure consistent service delivery.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in customer service, ideally within social housing or a similar field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
