About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join our First Response Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in mental health crisis management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and allocate work to the team, ensuring effective use of resources and efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct telephone triage and community face-to-face assessments for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, providing expert advice and guidance to the team.
  • Develop and implement brief care and treatment interventions for individual patients, working closely with the First Response Service.
  • Provide assessment, planning, and implementation of individual packages of care and treatment, promoting a recovery model that empowers patients and carers.
  • Undertake clinical risk assessments, based on the latest empirical evidence and compliant with local policies and procedures.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in mental health care and treatment, with experience in working with people presenting in mental health crisis. You will have a teaching, training, and supervision qualification, as well as experience in clinical risk assessment and contingency planning.
